Lagoon Park is 10 minutes from the Ballinger Suite. It is a scenic park with a beautiful waterfall. With the addition of a new fishing pier, Jordan Mill Pond is an ideal place to take a child fishing. The surrounding park as well as the newly added shoreline restoration have improved the water quality of Jordan Mill Pond and have created habitat for game fish to reproduce. This pond is a beautiful place to launch a canoe and cast for Largemouth Bass. There are picnic tables, a swimming beach, walking path and a splash pad. Consider visiting Pekarna Meat Market to purchase burgers, steak or hot dogs for a picnic with a local flair. Rademacher’s grocery store has a deli counter with an awesome selection of sides.
